Weekend Reading.

Hi from Boston! I came here for the weekend for a blog project with Real Simple and NYDJ (I flew in on Thursday night and hosted a fun event yesterday afternoon at Bloomingdales in Chestnut Hill.) In the meantime I got to see some of my best friends last night, and am headed home to the Cape for the night for some family time. Then it’s back to the city tomorrow! A bit of a whirlwind weekend but the event was a ton of fun and I feel so lucky to get to see some of my nearest and dearest! Besides this weekend’s trip, my week was pretty laid back. Did some work, saw some friends, and took a slew of workout classes… easy, breezy. It’s nice to be able to say that, haha.

How good are Chassity’s green stripes? Love this look!

An important read – why the company you work for is not your best friend. I’m not saying this to be cynical (I love my day job) but I think it’s just an important thing to keep in mind — your friends at work can be your best friends, but your company is not.

I loved this all white look on Sam.

How to give your wardrobe home a Spring refresh!

I majorly splurged on this pair of heels this week. I love them so much. They’re happiness in shoe form, and surprisingly versatile. I shouldn’t have bought them but I’m glad I did.

I also picked up this adorable little white dress (at a great price!) for an upcoming trip. Topshop is totally killing it right now. (Size up if you get it.)

Would you ever try fat melting cream?

My latest sandal crush.

Two things are certain: I need to take the plunge buy the Stuart Weitzman nudist sandals.. AND I TOTALLY NEED TO MAKE THESE. Erica always has the best DIYs… this is one of my favorite projects she’s made.

Fellow cat lovers rejoice: this play on Humans of New York is going to be your new favorite Tumblr.

I loved this office style post from Olivia. (now I want a white midi skirt to go with my white pumps!) At the other end of the spectrum, I really loved this vacation-ready all-white look from Julia. (love her turquoise jewels!)

This time of year I live in blazers simple camisoles. I bought last year’s version of this one in five different colors and reach for it constantly!

My favorite mascara, right now. It’s making me slightly less sad about my lack of lash extensions.

I’m really proud of my friend Meghan and her new personal goal!

On freelance life: some really helpful tips for surviving the drought. (To be honest, I find these tips relevant for all of us – freelance, corporate, startup, whatever. Nothing is ever permanent!

The sweetest dainty ring.
