Life is Good
Yesterday’s workout was an hour on the elliptical. Steady pace and tried to take it a bit easy since I had prolotherapy treatment the day before.
I got my usual send off on my way to work.
“Bye Mr. Stink Brain.”
Well that’s nice. Not even a Mrs.
Last night was brilliant. We had a little family birthday party that started with one of Dad’s famous Moscow Mule drinks handed to me upon arrival.
Just to explain this picture. The boys picked out their own gifts for me. The shirt Joaquin chose says “Life is Good”. I told him that it was perfect and that I say that all the time.
Judah quickly responded, “I’ve never heard you say that.”
We all had a good laugh. I told him that I guess I don’t say it that often, but I write it all the time. The hashtag #lifeisgood is used often on instagram.
Funny stuff though.
Even the small little family parties involve the whole deal- cake, candles, singing.
Random, but we survived the week without going to the grocery store. My breakfast this morning wasn’t as colorful or as green as normal, but it was still delicious.
Egg whites with Trader Joe’s chicken apple sausage and Scotty B’s bacon jalapeño hot sauce. Then I had the biggest honey crisp apple ever from Trader Joe’s and a roasted purple sweet potato. Rumor has it by the way that the season is almost over. Yikes.
Off to get a little birthday sweat on before the rest of the weekend festivities.
