Easy Ways to Wear Floral Pants + J. Jill

Hey Everyone!

I know it may seem a bit cliché to wear floral patterns during spring, but it’s really not that bad. I actually think it’s come to be expected. I’ve always been a fan of floral patterns. That doesn’t mean I’m a fan of overdoing it when I wear them though. When it comes to fashion, I’ve learned that everything should be done in moderation. It’s easy to go overboard with any trend. For example, I would advise against wearing floral tops with floral pants. It has been done before but in most cases it’s pretty extreme. There are easy ways to wear floral pants and tops. One of my favorite ways to wear floral pants is by simply wearing a white t-shirt or tank. It’s really that simple.

There’s something refreshing about wearing white when it’s warm outside. The solid color helps to offset the floral pattern which gives it balance. That’s why they pair so well together. Today, I’m wearing J. Jill’s Rayon-Twill Ankle Pants. These pants photograph well don’t they? I LOVE the black and white floral pattern! As usual, with all of J. Jill’s clothing, they’re super comfortable as well. I accessorized my outfit with pieces from J. Jill’s Compassion Fund. For some reason, silver looks better with black and white than gold does. I’m wearing heels in these pictures, but I could easily slip on my black Birkenstocks for even more comfort!
