A LOVELY AND COZY MEXICAN SUMMER HOME

Days are getting warmer and this make me dream about beautiful summer homes. This stunning place in the coastal town of Sayulita, Mexico, is owned by Brittney Borjeson. Brittany moved to Mexico to escape hectic city life. Last September she found her dream home: a lovely two-bedroom house overlooking the ocean in the southern hillsides of Sayulita. She also launched a shop selling Mexican crafts and artifacts, designed by herself and made by local artisans. I truly love this home as it is simple yet cozy decorated in a natural style. Almost everything in Borjeson’s two-story home is custom-made, either by herself or with the help of village craftsmen. If you like the style of this home: at the end of the post you can find some suggestions to create a similar style.

Shop this style: 1. Acapulco chair | 2. vintage fabric cushion | 3. lemon shaped basket | 4. decorative ‘coral’ | 5. knotted cushion | 6. plaited cushion | 7. sisal basket | 8. crocheted pear shaped basket | 9. linen cushion | 10. hyacinth basket | 11. bamboo basket with lid.

A vintage rug give instant style, color and warmth to an interior. It is also an excellent starting point to use to determine a color scheme for a living room, bedroom, dining room etc. These rugs are all available from Le Souk. With code DISCOUNT10 you now get a 10% discount on all orders.
