Leather skirts have come back with a bang this season and thankfully they are more figure flattering and sophisticated now than ever before. I've seen a number of pencil styles recently so I was excited to see this
A line style that was just a nice length. Too long and it would swamp your body as it's leather, that is unless you're exceptionally tall. It's a perfect find for a number of body shapes, apple shapes who want to create more of a waistline, those hoping to hide a tummy area or even if you want to just create the illusion of more curves for someone who has a narrow frame.
The skirt finishes just past the knee which gives it a beautiful, effortlessly flowy look especially when you walk. I wore this look at the
Evans London Fashion Week show but I didn't have a chance to get a full look photographed in time. I paired the skirt with this printed scuba top from Coleen Rooney's collection which is extremely comfortable and light to wear. For shoes I opted for my cut out shoe boots as they give a subtle chic element to an outfit so quickly. I finished off the look with a cute cobalt blue clutch bag as a contrasting colour.
Worn differently here : Earlier this week I paired the skirt with a simple black fitted top and a statement necklace for a piece I filmed for Xpose. You can pair this skirt with a multitude of tops to create different looks so easily. I'm already looking forward to wearing this with a fitted jumper and an oversized tartan scarf ( yes I have the outfit planned in my head already!haha ).
