Glamorous French Riviera Engagement Session

An engagement on the French Riviera sounds incredible in and of itself. But toss in a chic, glittery champagne gown, a bottle of bubbly and the amazing Greg Finck behind the lens? And it turns into a love sesh that we’re lusting after. Lavender & Rose Weddings planned every pretty bit of this couple’s big day (which we’re sharing tomorrow!) and it’s every bit as stunning. Stay tuned!

From Greg FinckLe Cap d’Antibes is nothing short from being one of the most prestigious area of the French Riviera. This small peninsula between Nice and Monaco is a hidden gem, and the location of the most amazing hotels of the Cote d’Azur. This is where most of the movie stars lodge during the week of the Cannes Film Festival. Everything here call for turquoise sea, easy breeze lifestyle, and amazing landscapes.

I can’t emphasize enough the importance of an engagement shoot before your wedding day. Diana and Jason had come all the way from Vancouver for that session, and to get acquainted with their photographer before the big day. They had rent a private driver to take us all the way along the Cap d’Antibes coast, so that we could stop in all of the beautiful spots.

We started the session on the rocks shore, with an incredible view on Cannes. I must say this was quite a hike, especially for Diana in a stunning glitter gown covered with sequins, and high heels. But I am always looking for the best views and background, even though that implies a little bit of acrobatics.

We then headed to a more peaceful beach, where the sweet couple could enjoy a cup of Champagne on a dock, with a breathtaking view on the Mediterranean Sea. I can’t wait to share with you the wedding day of these two love birds now.
