A Quick Holiday Beauty Look

I'm no beauty buff but during the holiday season I like to at least attempt to switch up my look for holiday parties and events. I recently took a trip to Walmart to pick up a few festive essentials for New Year's Eve -- namely a new shade of red lipstick that's ideal for everyday too, berry nail polish, the best mascara and more! This look is so easy to achieve and it's really quick too - perfect for after work functions or an office party. Read on to see the products I used and what I did!

I started with my regular routine: washing my face with Aveeno Positively Radiant Brightening Scrub then applying tinted moisturizer, bronzer, blush and highlighter. Then I used my bronzer as eyeshadow in the creases of my eyes to add a little definition and a natural color. Next I curled my lashes and applied several coats of Cover Girl's Full Lash Bloom mascara and followed with a thin line of L'Oreal's Infalliable Blackbuster Eyeliner, getting as close to the lash line as possible. Finally I added a few individual false lashes and finished my look with a swipe of Revlon's Rich Girl Red on my lips. See? So easy!

I added a little curl to the front of my pre-blown dry hair with a 1.5" curling iron - an easy fix after a day in the office to give yourself a little wave. And my nails are painted in Revlon's Colorstay Gel in Queen Of Hearts- love this polish because it lasts for several days with no chips.
