Reminiscing a Relaxing Singaporean Summer

I can’t believe it’s been a year since the big move from California to England. Perhaps it’s because of the glorious arrival of long days in spring and summer on this side of the hemisphere. At first, I found it bothersome that the sun rose at 4:00 a.m. But, after going through an English winter, I finally noticed how much I missed the sun! Nowadays, I cherish the English dusk that lasts for two hours and delights in the sun setting at 10:30 p.m. One thing I’ve learned from a year of living in England is that I am much more knowledgeable in putting together my outfit while considering the climate. For instance, this breathable jumpsuit I brought with me from the Philippines to my holiday in Singapore was splendid and foolproof. I actually found Singapore exceedingly warm but it didn’t impact me as my outfit allowed me to acclimate to the Southeast Asian humidity quickly. On this ground, I chose to dangle my feet by the pool in Sentosa Island with an iced drink in hand. Singapore is a cultural mix of the sea and the city and this outfit was perfect from day to night. With the moody spring & summer we’ve had in the U.K. lately, reminiscing my time here in Singapore has been a wonderful thing.
