Five Skincare Products To Try

I love the promise that a new year brings and I also find that there is no better time than now to clear out the old and bring in something fresh and new. One thing I always love assessing is skincare and taking a good look at what works and what doesn’t work. For this post I’ve rounded up five skincare favorites that are great overall products. They don’t rely too much on knowing your exact skin type and can definitely help save your skin during the harsh winter months.

Ren Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial: An exfoliator and mini-facial all wrapped up into one bottle. Filled with Vitamin C, this product tones, smooths, and leaves behind a healthy glow after use. Ren is also Paraben and Sulfate free helping to ensure the product you are putting on your skin is without harsh chemicals. Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream: This is a personal holy grail product for me. Created by Elizabeth herself, it does a little bit of everything. It works amazingly on chapped, dry lips, softens cuticles, soothes any irritated or dry skin, soothes sunburn, and even can be used to shape eyebrows. Clarins Instant Eye Makeup Remover: This is a new favorite of mine, and fantastic for those almost tattooed-on eye products. It easily removes makeup/grime from the day without having to tug or pull at the eyes. Melting the product away is a great way to explain it. Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair: Cult favorite, it smoothes, hydrates, tones, and creates a radiance that helps to give the appearance of younger skin. This one is perfect to use on a nightly basis before applying your moisturizer. By Terry Baume De Rose: This lip balm is thick without being sticky, has a really lovely scent, and moisturizes/protects your lips during the coldest winter months. It doesn’t need to be reapplied continuously throughout the day either. The only con with this product (which you will hear a lot of people say) is the packaging. They would prefer a tube instead of a jar that you stick your fingers in. What are some of your skincare staples? Do you use any of these products regularly?
