Colorful Positano

Happy Friday! It is so gorgeous in Vancouver right now -- I feel like summer is truly on its way! And good timing too, otherwise these photos from Positano and Ravello would be making me feel super downers. I'm still not able to wear shorts and a sleeveless top, but we're getting there!

This was the most gorgeous day that we had while on the Amalfi Coast and we definitely squeezed a lot in! We hit Positano, Amalfi and Ravello on this day. I wouldn't recommend it as there is so much to see in each place, but we only had a limited amount of time in the area so we decided to go all in on this day! But if you are planning your own trip, I would definitely suggest spending an entire day in Positano -- especially if you're there in the summer. The beach is amazing!

Positano was so incredibly beautiful and I've been dreaming of visiting here for years and years. I was so happy to finally have the chance to see it with my own eyes! It looks just like all of the photos you've seen and it's such a surreal feeling to finally arrive at a spot that is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world. I couldn't have been happier! The little streets are jam packed with cute little shops and restaurants that you could spend all day wandering through. There were also some trails along the coast take you to the old watchtowers and to some beautiful lookout points. They also have a million shops that are dedicated to the lemon and trust me when I tell you that you should indulge in the lemon covered almonds. I brought some home for gifts but I ended up eating them all myself! Sorry fam... I couldn't resist...

After Positano we caught a boat to Amalfi and then a bus up to Ravello. I hadn't heard of Ravello, but it is definitely worth a visit. It is a small town perched way up high on the cliff above Amalfi. There are some of the most beautiful gardens with the most insane views I've ever seen. This is another place that you could easily spend a full day wandering through the gardens and taking your time to really soak it in. The gardens used to be private residences they are seriously breathtaking. I still find myself thinking of these places and imagining what it must have been like to live here. It must have been quite the mission to build it so long ago!

I hope you have an amazing weekend and enjoy the sunshine! xoxo
