Easter Party Games: Easter Candy Bingo

Hi everyone! Britni here again from Play. Party. Pin. I’m so excited to share this Easter game idea that combines two of my favorites things – Easter candy and bingo together!

I feel like Easter is one of those times that you’re just supposed to eat candy. I mean there are tons of candies that are only available at Easter. If you don’t eat them during the Easter season, you have to wait an entire year and who really wants to wait around an entire year for Starburst Jelly Beans or Cadbury eggs to come back around? Anyway, I digress, let’s get back to the bingo game.

This game combines bingo with Easter candy. The idea is that instead of picking numbers to cover spaces on bingo cards, whoever the bingo “caller” is will pick Easter eggs from a basket and open the eggs to find either an actual candy or the name of a candy that matches a space on the bingo cards. Even more fun if you let individuals take turns picking eggs and eating the candy inside the eggs!

Supplies Needed:

  • Printable bingo cards
  • Easter candy that matches each of the candies on the bingo cards OR this list of Easter candies
  • 30 empty Easter eggs
  • Easter basket
  • Easter candies like jelly beans to be used as markers for the cards.

Setup:

  1. Before you play, fill each of the Easter eggs with either a different type of candy if you’re actually using candy or fill with a name of an Easter candy if you’re using paper strips. Put the eggs in an Easter basket.
  2. Download and print out the bingo cards on white cardstock and then cut along the lines. I’ve created a set of 10 filled in bingo cards for download. If you need additional cards, download the editable bingo cards and use the sample cards to create your own by filling in the spaces with candies from the candy list.

Play:

  1. Let everyone choose a bingo card and give them a cup or bag full of Easter candy.
  2. Choose one egg at a time (or let players take turns choosing them) to open. Announce the candy inside and have each player cover the corresponding space on their bingo card.
  3. The first person to get five spaces across, up and down, or diagonally gets a bingo and wins an Easter themed prize!

I hope you enjoy this fun Easter game. If you’re looking for more great Easter ideas, check out these 10 fun Easter egg hunt ideas or try one of these five party games for adults with Easter words!
