DIY DECOR {WHITE GILDED MIRROR}

Today I have a very easy decor DIY which will make something unwanted into a lovely piece for your home! This frame was found abandoned on the side of the road and most other people would have seen trash but I have been looking for a gilded mirror for a long time so this was definitely treasure!Here is what you need to do for this very easy DIY:Find a frame you would like to use (sometimes you can pick up ones for next to nothing at second hand stores mostly with ugly prints inside!) If the frame has paint or varnish on it already use some paint or varnish stripper to get rid of it (otherwise your white paint might bubble)Use your paintbrush to paint at least 3-4 coats (might be more if the frame is dark) of glossy white indoor paint onto your frame. Remember to let your frame dry well after each coat.Get a mirror cut and if you are not sure how to insert the mirror yourself let the people at the mirror cutting company do it for you. If not you can place the mirror in the frame and secure it with a cardboard cutout which is the same size as the mirror and some panel pins.
