My Redo at a Target Wedding Registry (and a giveaway!) #targetwedding #sponsored

I have been saying for years that I think when a couple has been married for 7 years, they should get another wedding shower. Seriously! I swear that most of the things I registered for 9 years ago when I got married have either broken or are on their way to the trash or just look like they've been used for 9 years.

I've put together some awesome finds from the Target Wedding Registry Catalog. I could seriously go crazy picking out all of the things I wish I had!!

**Hey! Be sure to stick around to the end of the post - I'm giving away a $25 Target eGiftCard. Boom!**

1. Calphalon Kitchen Essentials 14 piece Hard-Anodized Nonstick Cookset

First up is this awesome cook set. I love a good nonstick set of pots and pans since I cook daily weekly.

2. Crock-Pot 6qt Cook & Carry Slow Cooker

The crock-pot we registered for over 9 years ago died on us last Christmas. My parents got us this 6qt one to replace it. It's wonderful and is so big!

3. KitchenAid Contour Silver 2 Slice Toaster

Again, I wish I could show you my toaster. Actually I don't. I'm embarrassed by it. This one by KitchenAid is sleek and would look awesome on my counter right about now.

4. KitchenAid 4.5qt Stand Mixer

For my 30th birthday, my family bought me this mixer. (Actually it's in white but I just love this apple green color). I thought I wouldn't really use it all that much but I was wrong!

5. Threshold 16 piece Dinnerware Set

I think a great white dinnerware set is a staple for every house. You can dress it up with colorful napkins and it's perfect for everyday use.

6. Pyrex 10 piece Storage Set

And lastly, once you've used all of the above to cook a delicious dinner for your family and friends, you can store your leftovers in these Pyrex storage bins. We have the all white version and love them. They are airtight and keep your food good until it's time for your midnight snack.

If I could redo my kitchen yet again, it would mix of these below. Lots of white and stainless steel.

So, here are three pieces of advice for a couple getting married and making a home together. Make your home a place you love. My husband & I redid our kitchen about six years ago (well we hired my dad to do all the dirty work). I loved it when we did it then but definitely would have done a few things different, bought a few nicer things, wouldn't have cut so many corners. Wait until you can do what you want. I wish we had. In fact, my husband & I tried something new the other day and replaced the faucet in our kitchen sink. We felt pretty good about ourselves when we were done. And I have a few bumps and bruises to prove it. Secondly, when it comes to registering for your wedding, register for items that are timeless and will go the distance. Don't be afraid to register for the nicer item. And lastly, if you can talk your friends into throwing you a 7 Year Anniversary Shower, go for it!!

Is there anything you wish you had registered for? Or things that have stood the test of time?

Target is giving one of you a $25 Target eGiftCard. Thank you Target!!
