8 Journaling Tips | #NNDailyTip

Last summer, I began sharing a daily(ish) memory keeping tip on my Instagram under the hashtag #NNDailyTip. I recently decided to stick with a weekly(ish) theme for those tips, which I’ll then collect and share here!

Here are 8 of my tips for journaling:

This week's tips are all about fun ways to add journaling! Use strips of ribbon or patterned paper as lines for your journaling to stash bust & leave room for words. #nndailytip

Use lightly patterned paper with a geometric design to guide a column of journaling. #nndailytip (Also, this is from one of my favorite layouts made for the 2014 My Details Class. When you sign up for 2015, you get all of the 2014 lessons too!)

I recommend picking up a typewriter! They are excellent tools for adding journaling and can be a great way to use your PL cards or scraps. I lucked out with a cursive one, but you can usually find them cheap at thrift stores or antique malls–especially if you aren't looking for a fancy colored one. Trust me, I bought and sold at least a hundred of them during my college years #nndailytip (This is a sneak of another page I made for the original #mydetailsclass You get last year's content free with this year's class! Link in profile.)
