Urban Decay Full Frontal Reloaded Vice Lipstick Stash

A set so good I got two: one for a friend and one for myself :).

I wanted to try these lipsticks for a while but in all honesty, lately I’ve been feeling like my makeup collection (especially lipsticks!) was getting out of control and that I don’t really get to use everything I own. Then, I saw this set, got one for a friend and couldn’t resist but pick one for myself as well.

The Urban Decay Full Frontal Reloaded Vice Lipstick Stash comes with lip products worth $101.00 and sells for $59.00 (on sale for $36.00 at Ulta and Urban Decay right now!). It contains five lipsticks in different formulas and finishes and a lip primer pencil.

Here’s what Urban Decay says about this Full Frontal Reloaded Vice Lipstick Stash:

“Always looking for more ways to satisfy your lipstick vice? Get your fix with Full Frontal Reloaded Vice Lipstick Stash by Urban Decay. This limited-edition set is loaded with five creamy, addictive shades of Vice Lipstick – from neutral to bright, dark to light.

Perfect for lipstick junkies or anyone who can’t seem to decide which shade of Vice to get first, this set has something for everyone. Experiment with new shades and cult favorites in FIVE indulgent finishes: Comfort Matte, Cream, Metallized, Sheer Shimmer and Sheer. UD also included Ultimate Ozone Multipurpose Primer Pencil, the clear, thick-barreled pencil that’s clinically proven to make lip color last eight hours. It even prevents feathering, corrects mistakes and fills in fine lines!

Like a smaller version of one of UD’s limited-edition vaults, this collector’s set is worthy of display on any vanity. Full Frontal Reloaded Vice Lipstick Stash comes in a sleek black display box with a magnetic closure. Perfect for giving (and even better to receive) it’s guaranteed to elicit lots of jealous stares.

UD’s proprietary Pigment Infusion System gives each shade of Vice Lipstick its super-creamy texture, rich payout and superior color dispersion. Yummy butter blend comforts, hydrates and enhances, leaving lips soft and conditioned, never dry.”

What I love:

-this stash has an amazing value. Each of these lipsticks sells at $17.00 and the Ultimate Ozone Multi Purpose Lip Primer is $18.00, so it’s a $101.00 value at $59.00
-the set comes with a nice range of colors
-they also come in different finishes so you can test out the formulas
-the Ozone Multi Purpose Lip Primer included here is also pretty amazing and will make your lipstick last much longer
-most of these are really pigmented and the packaging is beautiful
-the formulas are very comfortable to wear

What I don’t love:

-there really isn’t much not to love about this set, but I do think that the packaging can be a little misleading as some of the shades look nothing when applied (or even swatched on skin) as they do on the packaging.

Seismic– this has a sheer shimmer finish and is said to be plum-purple with red shimmer. I didn’t see a whole lot of shimmer in this one. It turned out to be a lot more sheer than I expected and felt more like a glossy lip balm than a lipstick. It did look nice when layered on, but sheer lippies just aren’t my thing. This formula was a bit too slippery for my liking, but I think it would work nicely for me in a different shade.

Gash– this has a cream formula- a wine red with some tonal shimmer. This is one of the shades that looked completely different than it did on the packaging. I was expecting something more brown, nevertheless, it is a beautiful shade that’s nicely pigmented and pretty long-lasting.

Big Bang– this one has metalized finish. It’s a raspberry pink with some bright sparkle. It has glitter, but it isn’t too chunky or texturized. It wears very comfortably and feels a bit hydrating on lips which is nice, and is pretty long-lasting as well.

Snitch– sheer finish. It’s a pale, coral pink. The formula really is sheer and it applied a little patchy, but looked fine when layered on. It’s one of those formulas that tends to settle in lines so unless your lips are well-hydrated, it wouldn’t look very flattering. This one was also probably one of the least long-lasting lippies from the bunch. I think that this shade will be beautiful in Spring/Summer.

1993– comfort matte finish and my favorite shade and formula out of all of these. It’s a medium brown with warm undertones. Very cream and lightweight formula and despite having a matte finish, it wears very comfortably. Gorgeous shade!

Vice Lipstick Sheer Shimmer in Seismic (plum-purple w/red shimmer), Vice Lipstick Cream in Gash (deep red w/tonal shimmer), Vice Lipstick Metallized in Big Bang (bright pink sparkle), Vice Lipstick Sheer in Snitch (pale coral-pink), Vice Lipstick Comfort Matte in 1993 (medium brown)

The Urban Decay Full Frontal Reloaded Vice Lipstick Stash is a great set, especially if, like me, you wanted to give a few of these a try. It’s a great value and I’m very impressed with most of these formulas (comfort matte is my favorite) and definitely will be picking up some individual ones.
