Following the release of Jamie XX's highly anticipated debut studio album In Colour, he performed an intimate live performance on the French television show Le Grand Journal. He played the album's standout lead single, “Loud Places” where he brought out his band mates from The XX, including Romy on vocals, to perform a special rendition of the track alongside a backing choir.
