Make It :: Wine Cork Charms

Confession: I have about 500 wine corks that I’ve saved over the years. What does that mean? Well, I am always looking for new wine cork projects to do so when Evite and Cavit Wines reached out with this wine cork DIY, I knew I had to share it with you!

Time: 15 minutes for 5 charms
Level of Difficulty: Medium

Materials:
Wine corks
Nail
Hammer
Fine-point permanent marker
Numbers stencil
Brass beading hoops or wine glass charms wire (available at craft stores or online)
Chef’s knife

Directions:
Step 1: Cut cork into thin circular slices.

Step 2: Using a stencil and marker, write numbers on the cork slices.

Step 3: Hammer a nail into the top of each cork slice to make a hole and loop brass beading hoop into the hole.

Step 4: Attach each wine charm to the base of a glass.

I hope you try this DIY idea with the corks you have lying around. It really is a simple way to add a little DIY flair the next time you’r entertaining!

Here’s a recap of the project (be sure to Pin it for later!)
