Simple and Natural Naked Basics Look

Hello all, I’m Karoliina from Bones and Lilies blog! While I often do dark and dramatic looks, I recently picked up a Naked Basics palette from my trip to New York. I like neutrals, especially with dark lips, and wanted a palette that would work for neutral looks and light smoky looks. Naked Basics looked like just the thing!

This look was done with Venus, Walk of Shame, Naked 2 and Crave.

Venus is a shimmery champagne shade. I used it on the tear duct to give some light. Walk of Shame (W.O.S), a matte cream shade, was applied on the whole lid. The crease was first darkened with Naked 2, which is a medium beige, and then I added a hint of Crave on top and blended well. Crave is a very dark brown. Naked 2 makes it easy to blend the darker Crave seamlessly in the crease, giving a little extra darkness but not anything too dramatic.

On the lower lid I applied Naked 2 and a touch of Crave on top of it in the outer corners.

I finished the look with black mascara and a dark purple gel liner by Inglot, to have some edge to the look. Usually I wear dark lips with neutral eyes, but today I went for Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics lip tar called Sebastian. It’s an interesting beige/taupe shade and work surprisingly well as an eye-catcher when the eye make-up is light!
