This Week on the Blog

This week I have… well not much planned. But I can promise one thing: a mini tour of the Charlottetown Legacy Gardens. Just a heads up – this is one of my new favourite places! I can’t wait to share it with you now, at the beginning of the season, and again once things start to take off.

Community gardens are truly an amazing place. Each seems to have it’s own individual flavour and I really hope to check out as many of these fantastic places as possible this summer. I’m so glad to see this as an emerging trend in urban areas – it really helps neighbours to become acquainted and gives everyone a sense of the importance of food security.

Also on the blog this week – I’l try some more painting and find a few summer reads to get started on. You know I can’t go a single day without blurting out the title of my new favourite book! (Lately I’ve been rereading Jenny Lawson’s Let’s Pretend This Never Happened, which is actually just as hilarious the second time around.

Hmm… what else…. I can’t even think of anything off the top of my head. I think a trip somewhere in PEI will be in order. Come share in my adventure!
