Heather is the 20-something travel blogger behind Traveling Vanilla Bean, a blog about slow, authentic travel. She blogs about everything from culture shock to language learning to conceptions of beauty in the different cultures she is immersed in, taking it all in slowly and (more) beautifully!
Heather is a slow-travel addict, explorer, travel writer, teacher, wannabe photographer, and wannabe Yogi trying to find some untrodden paths in this world.
She is currently based in Taipei, Taiwan and has focused on Asian culture, food, and travel. This summer she will move to Prague, Czech Republic and will shift her focus on exploring Czech and Eastern European cultures and people.
