Best Donuts in Copenhagen at The Donut Shop

For Father’s Day we started the day with a visit to Jack’s favorite local donut shop. In case you have not noticed a trend… he has a thing for donuts and we tend to look for them in every city we visit. If you happen to be looking for the best donuts in Copenhagen, you need not look any further than The Donut Shop. After it’s opening last year on Donut Day, these delicious babies have been flying off the shelf every since. In fact, they have gotten so big that even the 7-11’s all over the city have started selling their donuts rather than the icky frozen ones they were previously peddling.

We may have gone a teensy bit over board trying all the different flavors, but with Nutella/Hazelnut, Mocha, Cookies and Cream, and Caramel as options, can you really blame us? And that wasn’t even the box for the kids! They wanted one of everything, so that’s just what we did. The kids chose donuts that included toppings such as lime sprinkles, marshmallow, and smarties. Every now and then it’s good to let them be kids, right?
