Bringing Blooms Indoor :: By Nord

Spring is in full bloom here in Copenhagen and that means loads of fresh flowers are now available at all of the florists. It is like heaven! I really love bringing fresh flowers into our home this time of year but I am also known for grabbing a bouquet at the end of the day when we are traveling to liven up even a temporary crash pad. I have heard a lot of people say that it is a waste since they won’t be able to enjoy them, but I think it’s totally worth it if you get to feel like a local and bring a bit of life into a room that might otherwise feel a bit sterile. Wouldn’t it be amazing if more hotels provided fresh flowers in the room?

The Spring catalog from Danish company, By Nord, has a few ideas for bringing blooms indoors, including trimming a little branch or two and taping them up to the wall. I wish they had shown some blooms in the bedroom shots as well since that is always my favorite place to set a vase full of roses (such a treat to wake up to!) but I’ve added them in anyways because they are just so cute!
