Kongens Have in Spring

Springtime in Copenhagen is one of the most magical times of year. After a long, dark, and cold winter, the blooms burst forth with a magnificence that is truly breathtaking. I especially love visiting Kongens Have in Spring because even when there is still a chill in the air, Danes flock to the park and begin sunbathing the moment a ray can be found. Located right in the center of the city, Kongens Have, or the King’s Garden, in English, has wide open space to run, play, and picnic with a beautiful view no matter which way you turn.

If you are thinking about visiting Denmark, I highly recommend visiting Kongens Have, no matter the season, but spring is definitely a favorite for me!

Do you have any favorite places you like to visit in the Spring?

Moving to Copenhagen? I love this flat that is only a few steps away from Kongens Have!
