pumpkin patchin'.
A couple weeks ago I spent the weekend up in Oak Glen visiting pumpkin patches, apple orchards and corn stalks! The little gem up in the mountains is filled with the most delicious fruit, a perfect little restaurant (that makes chicken pot pie and the BEST apple cider!), corn mazes and tons of activities. Its been a yearly thing since 2012 and every year the best apples are in season. I tend to dress up in my own version of "apple picking" appropriate clothing. Denim short alls instead of overalls and the classic red plaid shirt, seen by lumberjacks everywhere. Just call me the female Paul Bunyan! ;)
