peanut butter and apple dog cake

my dog Archie (the one on the left) loves to watch me bake and i often let him have some of what i have made, but i decided to treat him and cake him this dog friendly cake. my mums dog blue and him loved it. they both really love peanut butter, i think most dogs do so i new it would be a hit.

recipe 200g spelt flour or wholemeal (1 and 1/2 cups) 100g butter (approx 7 tbsp) 120g peanut butter (approx half a cup) 3 eggs 1 apple chopped into small bits 1 tsp baking powder
preheat the oven to 180c in a bowl mix the butter, and peanut butter then add the eggs one at a time, fold in the flour then add the chopped apple and spoon into a baking tin. bake for 35 minutes to decorate mix 2 tbsp peanut butter and 4 tbsp double cream and pipe around the top.
