3 Badass Fitness Bloggers who Inspired my Weight Loss

Until quite recently I hadn’t paid much attention to my health and fitness. I always figured that i’m young so didn’t need to worry about it but ballooning to a size 14 and gaining three extra stone in weight made me think twice. So at th start of the year I vowed to clean up my act and happily the changes have made a huge difference. 3 months in and I have dropped two stone and dropped two dress sizes.

Everything I have learnt so far on diet and keeping fit has been thanks to the following wonderful female fitness bloggers. Blogs are my go to source for inspiration and information so it’s no surprise that I looked to them for info when deciding to clean up my act. I’m lucky – a few of these blogs I have worked with in the past. Gotta love my job!

Lydia Elise Millen

I couldn’t love this girl anymore if I tried. Seriously I could gush about her all day. I first met lydia at a blog event for aussie haircare. She had these awesome spiked jeffrey campbell litas on and I asked if I could take her photo (she probably doesn’t remember this). I was enamoured with her from the start but I really fell in love with her blog when we started working together on moving her to wordpress and giving her a snazzy design. Ever since then I have been addicted to her blog. It is the perfect fusion of fashion and fitness. Whenever I have a question she’s on hand to answer it and I visit her blog daily. I credit her with my weightloss because her blog gave me that final push. Visit her blog at www.lydiaelisemillen.com

Bangs and a Bun/Spikes and Heels

Muireanne is one of the most amazing bloggers I have ever met. She has inspired countless girls to take up running and she’s evangelical about fitness. It all began with her blog Bangs and a Bun but extended to the website when she formed spikes and heels – a badass site for fit females.

Wholeheartedly Healthy

Laura’s a blogger i’ve worked with on multiple occasions now. Like me she wasn’t happy with her body so went on to overhaul her diet. I pop by Wholeheartedly Healthy when i’m after some recipe inspiration. Laura has a way with ingredients and she makes healthy eating look yummy. Her blog is such a bright happy place and is perfect for lifting the mood. The design is colourful and inviting.

So there you have it – my 3 favorite blogs for health and fitness. Of course I read the usual ones like Deliciously Ella but I wanted to highlight some amazing ones that others may not know.
