Illamasqua Apocalips – Human Fundamentalism

Now I know that a green lipstick isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I personally love to experiment. I was a little worried that this lipstick would make me look like a witch dressed up for halloween but that so wasn’t the case. This particular one is from Illamasqua’s new collection Human Fundamentalism. It is a lovely teal shade and like Scandal it has a matte finish. This shade makes a welcome change from my obsession with pink lipstick. It wears well and lasted all day even through eating and drinking. My 10 year old son actually loved this lipstick even though I thought he wouldn’t. I’d love to try layering another colour to see what colours I could create. Yes this is a brave colour choice and maybe it isn’t for the faint hearted but personally I love it. I wore it without any other makeup on except skin base as I think it is the kind of lipstick that is the star of the show.
