Japanese Fashion Designer Limi Feu

If you've been with me from the beginning you'll know that I am obsessed with Japanese fashion designers. It all began long long ago with the likes of Issey Miyake and Yohji Yamamoto but as i've discovered newer japanese fashion designers the list has grown.

One such japanese fashion designer is the fantastic Limi Feu. This japanese fashion designer has a heritage any budding designer would be proud of - she's the daughter of Yohji Yamamoto. Clearly monochrome, clean lines and exquisite tailoring is a family trait. But whilst yohji designs for the ideal woman, Limi designs for every woman. Her designs have a punkish aesthetic and previously models have been seen sporting mohawks and tattoos. She's also unusual in that she uses all Japanese models in her shows.

She formed her brand in 2000 and it has gone from strength to strength. She originally exhibited at Tokyo Fashion Week but for the last 8 years she has also been exhibiting at Paris Fashion Week (the mainstay of Japanese designers).

I adore her designs, the clean lines and fitted design really appeal to me and show how i fell in love with japanese fashion. You could easily dress head to toe in Limi Feu, there's something for every occasion. Go check her out at limifeu.com
