Remember Me?

Wow, anyone who told me that buying a house fixer-upper and planning a wedding at the same time was a bad idea; you were right. Things have been very exciting lately but also stressful. We started demolition on our kitchen this past weekend and are planning to put in new floors this weekend. Given the fact that I work from home, my weekends are spent working on the new house and all my extra money is going towards things for the house instead of clothing, I’ve had a lack of outfit posts.

I feel like my Summer wardrobe is lacking. I definitely prefer Fall to Summer and boots and sweaters to sandals and shorts. My wardrobe is definitely a reflection of that. I’ve found myself wearing the same things over and over again this Summer, usually easy, flowy dresses (or shorts and a t shirt for working around the house). Lately, I’ve found myself feeling like I have nothing to wear when I get dressed for the day. For this outfit, I decided to keep it simple and take it back to the basics with this simple black and white look.
