Our Weekend...

After all of our Christmas fun, we were ready for a laid-back weekend. The weather was terrible anyway so it was nice to spend a little more time at home, especially with all of Harper's fun new toys!

On Saturday, we headed to the Children's Museum because it was rainy and muggy outside. We went to the tot spot for about an hour and then headed to lunch and home for a long nap. We love going to the museum when the weather is crummy because it's always fun for Harper. We often meet friends there for play dates too and we can all chat while the kids play.
(wonder what they were looking at?!)
(everytime we come here, she wears this hat and doesn't want to take it off…lol)

(when you forget to pack a bib, you get resourceful)

I spent a few hours during Harper's nap time Saturday painting our IKEA LATT playtable and chairs. I will have a post up about that soon---but here is a preview. I'm so happy with how bright and cheerful it is!

Every night, we play a little game where she opens and closes the doors and hides and runs away. As you can see, she loves it (and so do we!)

On Sunday we spent most of the day at home aside from running a quick errand and grabbing lunch. Then Candice came over and we played with Harper and ate dinner.

Tonight Harper tried to feed my mom Cheerios while they FaceTimed. When she sees an iPad now she either says "bus bus" (wants to see the wheels on the bus video) or "zuzi zuzi" (wants to call grandma Zuzi). It's incredibly sweet!
I also started taking down some of our Christmas decor. As much as I love it, I'm craving a little de-cluttering and want to feel refreshed after a busy holiday season.
Hope you had a relaxing weekend!
