A yesteryear throwback archaeologist in training writing about London, history and anything else that takes my fancy. I live in an old church and love all things Art Deco and Noir, with a touch of the gothic thrown in too. The 1930s is my era but I will always have a soft spot for Victoriana, the roaring twenties and cold war espionage. This is a place for pretty clothes, good books, and an unceasing love of basset hounds. I also wear a lot of berets.
