Swedish teen with Asperger’s syndrome missing in Manhattan: sources

Cops are searching for a 15-year-old Swedish tourist with Asperger’s Syndrome who disappeared in Chinatown, police said Saturday.
Marcus Kerttu was last seen sitting at a table with his father in a McDonald’s restaurant on Canal and Lafayette Sts. at around 8 p.m. Friday, the sources said.
His dad stepped away from the table to use the bathroom and, when he returned, Marcus was gone, according to police.The panicked father spent several hours searching for Marcus, then went back to their room at the Hotel Stanford on W. 32nd St. in Midtown, hoping that the teen would ultimately show up, police sources said.
