We were just on vacation in the Caribbean which meant we were all running around in our bathing suits all day long for two weeks straight. One of the bonuses of being pregnant is that you really don’t care how you look in a suit as long as you’re feeling good, so snacks are still really important for keeping your energy up. It’s amazing how the heat kept us from wanting big meals, preferring to have lots of nutritious snacks on hand. I found myself making tons of smoothies, popsicles, yogurt dip, salsas and more for all of us. Even when it comes to snacking I try to offer a variety of textures and colors to keep it interesting. These snack foods are all really simple to prepare, but keep food in your belly while you’re having fun outside.
