There used to be a time when black was the dominating neutral. Everywhere you looked, it was black jeans, black blazers, & black handbags on repeat. Black was the ultimate shade that you could effortlessly mix & match without fail. But in the past couple of seasons, navy has made a comeback as the ultimate classic neutral!

Not that it’t any competition, but navy has somewhat of a more feminine touch than black. As color that works year-round and blends with anything in your closet (including black!), I have decided that its the color I want to invest in more! I’ve slowly added clothing, like double breasted blazers, but recently, when stumbling across this Dooney & Bourke denim & navy chevron crossbody clutch from Macy’s, I knew it would be an accessory that would bled well into my new favorite color palette!
