Affordable Sterling Silver from Jewellery Box

When the lovely people over at Jewellery Box asked if I'd like to review some pieces from their website, I jumped at the chance.

I've been wearing them all month and couldn't wait to share them with you. They've also offered an exclusive discount code for WhatLauraLoves readers so read on until the end to find that.

You all know by now how much of a jewellery lover I am and I have a keen eye for girlie, feminine pieces that sparkle. I prefer silver and white gold to yellow gold and when the pieces from Jewellery Box arrived, I could see that they had matched my brief perfectly. I couldn't be happier with the pieces that I have now added to my collection.

When the package arrived, I was over the moon at the cute packaging. The pieces came carefully wrapped and nestled inside the rustic box above. They were all really well protected and secure which is something that I look for when ordering online as I'd hate for my things to get damaged in the post.

The Jewellery Box website is incredibly easy to navigate and what I really liked about the site is that they have absolutely everything category of jewellery you could think of in different metals from necklaces, bracelets and rings to anklets, earrings, toe rings, charms and bangles so you can chose individual pieces or a set of complimentry pieces. I find this really handy for travelling as I tend to take one gold set and one silver set of jewellery with me and one colourful set to match the most worn colour in my wardrobe, with a pair of earrings, a necklace and a bracelet for each colour option.

Jewellery Box stock a wide selection of body jewellery too and they even have plenty of jewellery storage for you to keep it all in. I'd actually really recommend the Stackers jewellery box line that they sell as I received a mirrored set from my dad for Christmas and it has been so useful to me as well as looking gorgeous in my room.

The thing that I like the most about Jewellery Box is that you can mix and match the different necklaces and charms to created your own bespoke necklace. When you click onto the different necklaces, you have the choice of buying the charm or pendant alone or with the necklace.

The necklaces come in a wide range of sizes too. I've never seen a website offer such a wide range of chain lengths as Jewellery Box which is great if you're someone like me who often finds necklaces to be too short on you. They stock size 16, 18, 20, 24, 28 and 32 inch long chains.

The gorgeous heart that I have here is from the Sterling Silver Clear CZ Floating Heart Necklace. I love how the heart is a little angular rather than it being completely straight as it makes it a little different to the other heart pendants I have. It looks so classy and is the perfect piece for daytime use and for wearing at night.

When my necklace arrived, it also had a Sterling Silver Script Letter Charm on it, in an L. It doesn't take a genius to work out what that stands for. I love that they created this as a custom piece for me and it is so easy for you to do the same with your own initial. I also think that the letter charms would be a great Mother's Day gift, perhaps with an initial for each childs name on a chain.

Having an additional charm is great because it means that you can wear them together or swap them out for a different look when worn individually. They're really good quality, especially for the low cost and for a fine chain, it is very sturdy. I'm really impressed with it as I'm usually worried that fine chains will snap easily but this one doesn't and I've really put it through its paces by wearing it to get gym, on nights out and while showering.

My favourite piece has to be the Sterling Silver Brushed Flat Heart Stud Earrings. The brushed metal is an interesting texture, different to all of the other heart studs I own (and I own quite a few pairs!) and the silver is still super shiny so they look lovely in my ears.

As I've already mentioned, I have a few pairs of heart earrings from the likes of Tiffany, Thomas Sabo and Pandora but they were really pricey and while I love wearing them, they aren't the kind of studs I would leave in all day everyday as I'd be worried that I'd lose one of them. Whereas these studs are so affordable but look equally as lovely as my other earrings and they're really sturdy with secure butterfly backs so they are more suitable to wear for day to day use.

I love to always have small earrings in as I think that they help me to look girlie and put together, even when I'm at the gym or nipping to the shops in my casual clothes and these earrings are perfect for me to wear.

I'm really impressed with the jewellery that I have here as I've been wearing it for the last month solid and they haven't tarnished or broken and they have remained as shiny as the day that I got them. It was only when I came to write this post that I looked onto the Jewellery Box website and saw the cost of them.

They're so reasonably priced and the quality is far superior, I'm really impressed and will definitely look to buy silver jewellery from them in the future. The cost that some jewellers charge on the high street for similar pieces is ridiculous in comparison!

The last piece that I received is a turquoise woven cord bracelet with pearly silver balls threaded through it. The sizing of this piece is really generous and would look fantastic layered up with other similar colourful bracelets during the summer months. These kinds of bracelets really remind me of holidays abroad and colourful, laid back friendship bracelets.

It is really easy to put on, as are all of the items here as they're sturdy, not flimsy at all. Simply wrap it around the wrist and tie it in place. You can either tie it loosely if you want to be able to remove it or more tightly if you'd like to keep it on for a long time. I know many girls who wear bracelets like this on their wrist constantly and they look so cute layered up, especially if you tend to wear similar colours often and have a more laid back style.

When ordering from Jewellery Box, all of the pieces come in really cute gift packaging for free, so if you're buying for someone as a gift and wrapping isn't your strong point then you can totally let them take care of it for you.

You can visit the Jewellery Box website here to shop and if you enter the discount code whatlauraloves at the check out then you will get 10% off your whole order.

Orders over £10 qualify for FREE DELIVERY too!
