The Denim Shirt Dress

I feel like when the 'most covetable items of 2015 awards' come out (okay, they sound a bit rubbish, but you catch my drift)- the denim shirt dress is going to be top of the list, by a long way. Although Ms. Chung didn't invent the denim button-up number, she did give it a new lease of life this January with her AC x AG number (which sadly, my teeny dress budget couldn't stretch too)- and, poof, like that- all I needed in my life was a bloody denim dress, thanks Alexa (like I need to try and copy more of your wardrobe)...

Alas, after spotting this on the Zara website (and then visiting 5 shops, and seeing it sell out twice before I picked it up)- it was love (with a dress- who'd have thought it) and the denim shirt-dress-quest was over (I've listed some of my other favourites below, if I could justify wearing one every day of the week- the Miss Selfridge one is another favourite). Pairing it with near-on reflective pale legs and my favourite new shoes from Next, I was set to embrace the sunny weather (if only that lasted as long as my dress hunt, hmph)...
