We’ve discussed registry guides through and through, and we have one that will fit just about every one’s situation, from suburban to minimalists to city dwellers. One thing we haven’t touched on though is the registry for the second baby. It can feel somewhat weird to ask for more baby things a second (or third, fourth, etc.) time around when everyone was already so generous with your first baby, but with the rising popularity of “Sprinkles” for second babies, it’s nice to have a guide for friends or family who want to spoil baby. Plus, you definitely need more stuff with more babies!

I would definitely recommend using this guide in conjunction with one of our other registry guides, as there are always things you’ll need to replenish or replace after Baby #1 has used them, but this guide can be used as a good jumping point for all the gear you’ll need the second time around.

Assume 10-12 per day, assume the average baby wears newborn diapers for 3-5 weeks (up to 10lbs).

We’ve only included the necessities and left the endless décor possibilities off the registry. This list assumes you’re able to reuse a lot of nursery furniture from Baby #1, if not, see our general registry!
