Chic Goes Wild

In Bloom

So, my reason for the quick trip to Belgium? A visit to Maasmechelen Village, a designer outlet near the border of the Netherlands. The invitation promised lots of flowers, and they didn’t let me down! The village was decorated with blooms, all designed by famed florist Mark Colle, known for his collaborations with Dior, Jil Sander and more.

Shopping AND flowers are a winning combo. If you find yourself near one of the Chic Shopping Outlets (including my fave, Bicester) do pop in to take a look at the flowers – they’re totally Insta-worthy!

I’m in such a flowery mood as of late. The sun shining has definitely helped, and I’ve wanted a big bright bunch of flowers on my table at all times.

I paid closer attention to the event’s name than I thought, as by throwing on my favourite leopard print skirt I had the ‘wild’ bit well and truly covered. You can’t beat a simple black, red and leopard combination in my opinion! Expect to see it reincarnated a thousands ways over the warmer months.

What I Wore…
