Eyeliner
I know all-black outfits are practically uniform for some people, but it felt a bit of a novelty for me. You can’t help but feel that little bit cooler in a leather jacket and a good pair of boots. The eye makeup definitely helped…!
My eyes hadn’t been that dark since I was around 16 and would paint thick liquid eyeliner on both the top and bottom of my eyes. Fortunately it’s comeback wasn’t applied by yours truly, but by a talented makeup artist at the Charlotte Tilbury x Norman Parkinson launch. I’m not sure it’s a look I’d go for daily as it’s probably a bit harsh, but worth a try every now and then when the mood takes me…assuming I can recreate it without looking like I’d been in a fight…
And can we get a ‘hurrah’ for leather jacket weather? This vintage number of mine has seen me through festivals, gigs and plenty of travelling, and it’s glad to be back in action!
