I love me some TWIX, which may come as a surprise given the fact that I have never really been a candy girl. When I was a kid and my grandmother would put together my Easter baskets every year they were always filled with Granny Smith apples and small toys and gifts. But when I do get a craving for something sweet, chocolaty, and conveniently packaged in a metallic wrapper, Butterfingers and TWIX Bars have always been my favorites.
TWIX have been unwrapped and turned into bite size morsels of the same rich caramel, crunchy cookie, and smooth milk chocolate we’ve all loved for decades in new TWIX Bites.
These little candies are seriously good. They really do pack the same big taste we all know from the full-size TWIX Bars, except now you can easily share them whether you’re on the go and want a quick, sweet snack or having a fun family movie night.
TWIX Bites also lend well to those of us who like to get a little creative with our snack foods. When I let myself indulge a little, I like to combine candy with popcorn, so one night while getting ready to watch some movies, I let a handful of TWIX Bites melt over my hot buttered popcorn. Popcorn, caramel, milk chocolate, and the occasional crunchy cookie? You can’t get much better than that in the world of junk foods.
