| Abandoned | In Plain Sight

Hidden in plain sight aside one of the busiest motorways in and out of London, this building perishes. Its hollow eyes stare aimlessly at the passersby while its parts granulate into irretrievable dereliction.

We visited on a very windy day. Looking back now, it was a bit scary because of the risk of flying glass, tiles and other parts of the exposed structure. Scarier still is that there is a public walkway and very busy road beside it. Yet the building remains uncovered.

It won't be long till it is demolished. We came to say goodbye and to tell it that we will remember it when it has gone.
